Boilers & Heating Controls
Bayview Contracts are a market leader in the design and installation of oil and gas heating systems. Oftec, Safe Gas and RGII registered, Bayview complete over 1,000 heating installations per year and manage all aspects of the process ranging from initial survey, job cost, installation, commissioning, associated ancillary works, advice on most efficient system usage and a comprehensive 24×7 back-up service.
By fitting a new high efficiency condensing boiler and improving your heating controls, you will significantly cut your home’s carbon dioxide emissions and could save as much as £275 a year. As the current lifespan of a boiler is around 15 years, choosing a heating system with a high efficiency condensing boiler with the correct heating controls can make a huge difference to your heating bills over time.
What is a high efficiency condensing boiler?
A high efficiency condensing boiler works on the principle of recovering as much as possible of the waste heat which is normally wasted from the flue of a conventional (non-condensing) boiler. The best high efficiency condensing boilers convert more than 90% of their fuel into heat, compared to 78% for conventional types.
What are Heating Controls?
Heating controls will keep your home at a comfortable temperature, making it warm when you want it but switching off when you don’t. They include: a programmer, a room thermostat, a combined programmable room thermostat, a cylinder thermostat and Thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs).
Bayview have developed long term strategic relationships with all of the key material suppliers who provide extended boiler warranties and extensive contract support as required.
Bayview currently complete over 12,000 boiler services each year and have developed an “in house” team of the most skilled and competent servicing engineers – with coverage over all 32 counties of Ireland.
