Bayview win major response maintenance contract with Cluid Housing AssociationDecember 1, 2014
Bayview are delighted to announce the award of an exciting new response maintenance contract with Cluid Housing Association. Cluid (which is an Irish word meaning “the seat beside the fire”) is a not-for-profit organisation delivering high quality, affordable homes to people on the housing waiting list across Ireland. Since its establishment in 1994, Clúid has provided 4,755 properties to low income families and single people, older people, people with a disability and Traveller families all over Ireland.
Clúid has been to the forefront of the housing association sector, driving innovation and transforming housing provision. At a time of huge government cutbacks and growing housing waiting lists, the need for good quality affordable housing has never been greater and Clúid is determined to meet that need and Bayview Contracts are delighted to be a key strategic partner in helping them to meet with their ambitions.
In delivering the contract Bayview will be responsible for managing almost 3,000 properties (on a 24x7x365 basis) across their East region including counties Louth, Meath, Cavan, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wicklow and Wexford.
Bayview are delighted to be involved in this project, particularly due to the hugely innovative nature of this contract which is focused upon the Vanguard Systems Thinking Methodology and an “Open Book” costing model. Further to this Bayview are fully committed to working in partnership with Cluid Housing Association and all other stakeholders in developing a “best in class” response maintenance service that meets and exceeds the expectations of all tenants.
As vindication of the innovative nature of this contract Cluid were successful in winning the prestigious award for “Innovation in Public Procurement” at the 2013 National Procurement Awards.
